Large Format Porcelain Tiles — 120×120, 120×240 and Slab-Size Options
Large format porcelain tiles cover more floor and wall with fewer grout lines, giving kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces a clean, seamless look that is easier to keep clean. Rubyx Stone Collection stocks large porcelain tile flooring and wall tiles made in Italy and Spain, from 120 × 120 cm up to full slab size.

What Are Large Format Porcelain Tiles?
Any porcelain tile with a side of 60 cm (24") or more counts as large format, but today's most striking installations use much bigger pieces. Because porcelain is dense, rectified and dimensionally stable, these tiles can be laid with joints as narrow as 2–3 mm. Fewer joints mean less grout to stain, and patterns like marble veining flow uninterrupted across the room.
| Size (metric) | Size (imperial) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 120 × 120 cm | 47" × 47" | Open-plan floors and living areas |
| 120 × 240 cm | 47" × 94" | Floors, feature walls and showers |
| 120 × 270 cm | 47" × 106" | Floor-to-ceiling walls with no horizontal joints |
| 162 × 324 cm | 64" × 128" | Slab-size tiles for the most seamless finish |

Large Format Kitchen Floor Tiles
Large porcelain tiles are ideal for kitchen floors: fewer grout lines to trap spills, a surface that resists scratches from chairs and dropped cookware, and a calm, open look. Choose a matte finish for better grip underfoot. Read our guide to porcelain kitchen floor tiles.
Large Format Bathroom Tiles
In bathrooms, large tiles make small rooms feel bigger and turn showers into one continuous surface. With almost no water absorption and minimal grout, they resist mould and are quick to wipe down. Pair floor tiles with matching wall tiles for a spa-like finish.
Large Format Feature Wall Tiles
Tall formats like 120 × 270 cm run floor to ceiling without a single horizontal joint, so a fireplace surround, TV wall or lobby looks like solid stone. See examples in our project gallery.
